BTW, just for those of you who'd like to know: the kimono i wore had a flesh colored thigh-length jacket that tied 3x's around me, then had a flesh colored skirt that came from just underneath my chest all the way to the floor and wrapped around twice. Then, over the jacket and skirt, there was a huge robe (the green one in the picture) that was 3 feet too long. we had to hold the robe up so that it hung even to the floor, then all the extra material was gather around the waist (b/c i'm short, there was even MORE material there). Then, there were 3 elastic bands that had to be intricately tied so that the robe and all that junk stayed together. Over the robe gathers, we wore Obi's (the pink thing around my waist). You're already stiff from all the material you're wearing, but adding an Obi pretty much insures that you can't bend over AT ALL. And by the time the show was through, my back was killing me. But i had a ton of fun! I'd do it again any day!

haha. correction. The ties on the jacket tied around me 3 times (it was LONG!!). The jacket itself was extremely huge too.
